Welcome to CCS Orange
What a wise parent you are to consider a Christian education for your child. In these uncertain times, few decisions are more important and far-reaching. Community Christian School, organized in 1977 as a ministry of Community Church, is educating students to excel in every aspect of life. We view each student as a unique person, created by God to live the fullest and most significant life possible. We are dedicated to equipping each student to attain the highest standards academically, spiritually, and socially. If you find our school compatible with the goals of your family, we pray that you choose to join our school family.

Lions Roar at First Pep Rally
Our first rally was a huge success as Cheerleaders introduced us to this fall’s athletes and cheered the crowd of spectators to fever-pitch. The students enjoyed their grade competitions, and we’re excited about this year’s athletic events. GO LIONS!!!
Students are benefitting from the new software program for Spanish, Rosetta Stone. Utilizing one of our three computer labsites, students hear and respond to their lessons at each student's individual pace. Mrs. Street tracks their progress and keeps them on track to complete the course in a year. She noted how engaged the students remain throughout class each day as they enjoy working with this new technology.
Students have stormed the doors to get into this year's Book Fair. Mrs. Street did an exceptional job setting up eye-catching displays which lead the children to love books. Grandparents and parents have responded by supporting the book fair in a big way. This fundraiser is a huge success thanks to them.
Ms. Breaux's 8th grade Family/Life Skills class is making pillows for MD Anderson Cancer patients. Sewing is a necessary skill that gets overlooked in our fast-paced world. Even our young men need to know how to sew on a button. The students are especially interested in affecting the lives of cancer patients. What a worthy, fun project!
Opening Day for SLi brought a whole new meaning to the words fun and cooperation. After a never-ending supply of pizza, students separated into teams to practice their teamwork skills. Mrs. Klein chose popular game teasers that brought out the great CCS competitive spirit. Be sure to take a look at the pics of our two winning teams.
